Through a process of "personal archaeology", the film sees through the gaps of Rita Lee's life to show what everyone else sees, in a way no one has ever seen: Rita poet, musician, writer, hermit, muse and tortoise. An incomparable figure in Brazilian music, with a career spanning almost 6 decades, the film shows how Rita is also important in the fight for gender equality and an artist of resistance against the censure of the military dictatorship.
