1831, Pedro, the former emperor of Brazil, seeks physical and emotional strength to face his brother who usurped his kingdom in Portugal. The film takes place in the Atlantic Ocean, aboard an English frigate in which members of the court, officers, servants and enslaved people are mixed, in a babel of languages and social positions. Pedro finds himself sick and insecure. He enters the vessel in search of a place and a homeland. In search of yourself.
